• PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT REGISTER ON THE NIGHT. PARTICIPANTS MUST BE OVER 16 YEARS OLD.
• Places are limited, therefore if you want to walk with friends, please secure your places by sending in your entries/register online together. Please allocate a Team Leader, this will be whom we communicate with when necessary. YOU MUST INCLUDE THE TEAM LEADERS NAME ON EACH REGISTRATION FORM.
• Payment must be received with each entry. Please put your name and address on the reverse of the cheque.
Please do not send cash in the post. A credit/debit card facility is available by calling 01752 492626.
• Your registration fee covers the following: T-shirt, medal, breakfast and drink.
• If you are unable to walk, please inform the Fundraising Team (01752 492626) asap. You are not permitted to ‘give’ your place to anyone else.
• The Midnight Walk is not a race and therefore no walkers are allowed to run or jog. You can power walk, but no walker must pass the nominated lead walkers.
• You are not permitted to use any of the sponsorship money you raise to pay for your expenses. All sponsorship money given to you must pass directly to St Luke’s Hospice.
• We recommend that all walkers participating in the 30-mile route should obtain a doctors certificate. It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure they are medically fit to participate in the event.
• You must not compete on roller skates, blades skateboards or any other propelled object, or push children around the route in any form.
• Please remember to keep noise levels to a minimum and behave in a respectable manner, considering local residents, fellow walkers and volunteers. Strictly no alcohol.
• By taking part in this event you implicitly authorise the future use of your picture for publicity purposes.
• It is recommended that you train for this event.
• We reserve the right to change fees, event details, prizes and any aspect of event management organisations.
• At 8am Marshals and Water stations will be withdrawn. At this time all participants will proceed as pedestrians and proceed as such. If you think you will take longer than 10 hours to complete the walk then please ensure you take a copy of the route map with you on route.
• Unfortunately we cannot accommodate dogs on the walk. Any participant who arrives to the event with a dog (except guide dogs) will be refused entry. Those refused entry will not be entitled to a refund.
